I got a fantastic deal on a 2008 Tundra a few years ago with only 36,000 miles. What an incredible truck! It rides more like a car than other trucks I've driven at home and work! It also feels super solid for the punishment I've put it through. Never had a problem yet and get from 16 to 20 mpg with a whopper 5.7 motor. Most of the Tacoma guys I know get similar (or worse) gas mileage. I'd rather have the room! Never had a problem with power! I got the Limited with heated, leather, seats and everything....seems pretty darn posh to me! A buddy of mine has a similar year Tundra with same motor but gets worse gas mileage. He may have a different transmission, front end, or something?
I had a Dodge Ram (bought brand new) and I'll never go back! Had lots of problems towards the end...with around 10 mpg on a good day!
