New tricer bipod

I’ve watched all the videos and read the specs and still can’t tell if you can lock the pan out. Looks like it on and cant tightens up with the same knob, so maybe you can’t lock out the pan. Would be nice to know.

Also, two leg splay settings or is there a middle one for three total?
There are 4 splay angles. One large lever locks out both can't and pan.

Any way to lock out panning in future or current design?
The panning feature locks out with the can't. With the size of ball we have in there the tension makes it so it is not a factor to worry about independently

Seems like a great design. I have too many bipods as is, but may have to try this out in the future.

I am in the same boat that's why I designed this. It's one bipod to do it all. I have a box full of bipods.

I've been waiting for a better option that doesn't cost me my first born child (looking at you mdt cyke). Ive never owned a bipod but I think this will be my first dive into that realm. I've been shooting off a tripod for a few years and the rare instances I can go prone are typically off my pack.

Looking forward to trying it out!

Not to derail this thread but need to ask cause I’m really tempted to buy one of these. But a general question…I put arca rails on all of my guns back by the bottom metal in anticipation of shooting off a tripod (balance point). If you were to put one of these beauties that far back, am I thinking it wouldn’t work very well? I’ve always looked at bipods as an out towards the front of the gun kind of things. I’ve always used the Spartan bipods but this bipod has so much to offer I’m trying to figure out how to use it. Thanks in advance for people’s thoughts.

Good spot for tripod, bad spot for a bipod you’ll need another rail out front.

It would truly be the Mother of all Bipods (MOAB) if the legs would have a 45° forward angle lock. Already preordered one so here is to hoping.

I started using Tricer stuff a couple of years ago and have been very happy with every one products. Looking forward to comparing this to MDT clyepod

I preordered one, been looking at bipods a few years.
Was looking at gun works but this one is a way better bargain and fits exactly what I need.
Now just make the third leg!

What if you did something like this…and sorry to detract from the thread. This is the ghetto fabulous version. Woud love some feedback if you think this would work. Extend one of the gets about an inch or so. Then put one of these adapters on a collapsible monopod leg. Then clamp this around the extended leg right at the top. Would this make it too lopsided or could you offset the change in balance by adjusting the legs?

Got a chance to play with this at the expo and talk to Mr Tricer himself. Super solid dude and super solid product.
The bipod does lock in 45 degree forward and rearward angles as well as 90 degree forward and rearward for storage.

I compared the Hatch and Gunwerks as well. Both super nice bipods with their own pro's/cons. Ultimately the Tricer won my order. It has all the same features of the Hatch but is much lighter and much cheaper. Hatch doesn't have the pan feature, Tricer does.

The Gunwerks had some cool features like spring loaded leg deployment, but no 45 degree forward/rearward lockout. I also don't think Gunwerks has the pan feature.

The only design feature I liked better about Gunwerks and Hatch is their bipods stow closer to the stock, the Tricer hangs down a bit lower when stowed.

I didn't compare the MTD bipods as they are more $$ than I am willing to spend for a bipod. I did hold one and it seems well built yet heavy compared to Tricer.

Hope this helps anyone on the fence.
Thanks again Mr Tricer for the conversation and for the Bipod!
