Wow, $250 for a 8x10' tarp that weighs almost 1 1/4 lbs. Heavy and expensive! With extremely well made (USA made), waterproof tarps on the market that are just as big or even bigger, weigh less than half what this one weighs, and costs about the same, I think there are many reasons to pass on this one.

Can you provide me with a link or something? I have been searching and not findings options that are better than the Sitka.

About the only thing i dont like about this tarp is the cordage. Its serviceable however thats about it.
I have replaced it with 2mm lawsons glowire with their bar locks.
