New Seekins Rifles!!

No issues with the palm swell grip being thick? The browning I tried a month ago was a little large for my large hands, maybe I am being a bit picky....

When I was into traditional archery, I discussed recurve grip size and shape with a respected bowyer. He said that many people assumed that big hands need a big grip, and that small hands need a small grip. Of course, you don't actually "grip" the handle, but he said that people with larger hands did better with smaller handles. So, counter intuitive?

Anyway, I had gen2 Element and didn't care for the grip at first and actually for quite awhile. Eventually, it grew on me to the point that I didn't care.

I'd just keep an open mind like anything else. Maybe it'll grow on you, if you are able to handle some PH3 prior to buying.

And if you end up buying one, and still can't live with it, then explore reshaping it to suit. Assuming there's enough material, and it's solid. I think they are still injection molded, IIRC.

FYI - I heard end of May, early June timeframe for the first batch to be done but that could change so I would not count on it.
Yep, you were correct. Can confirm that the short action Seekins Element Hunters are in the hands of sellers and owners. Sounds like the long actions are next. Going to try and make a trip to check them out soon.

I still don't have my short action. Normally patience is not one of my virtues, but oddly enough, with this I am not even stressing. It gets here when it gets here.

I just got a notification from the dealer that the gun shipped. I should have it in my hand within a week.

Late to the party... But to me these look awesome. I do a fair amount of swapping around calibers, etc. at first the non-700 action had me a little hesitant, but I like the idea/concept for why they changed and if it catches on, even better.

The cheek riser is a big plus for me.

I haven't handled one yet but don't live far from europptic... If I can sell my ultra mag I may pick up a ph3 in 6.5 PRC 😬

Definitely want to go handle some.
