New Seekins Rifles!!

Interesting. Of the PH3’s I fondled there was definitely one that ran like trash, in a short action too. The rest of them felt good, I tried pushing side to side to get them to bind, and while they aren’t a tikka action I couldn’t get them to bind.
That is indeed promising.

Still nothing in .280 AI 😢
I feel you there. Planning to call and see what it would take to get one chambered in 280ai, or if its even a possibility. If it's not less than or easier than a weatherby 307 alpine mdt carbon, well... My dinero will be headed to Wyoming rather than Idaho...

I like the look of the Weatherby (alpine CT in my case) but just am not sure I have faith that I'll get as accurate a rifle from them as from Seekins. There may be nothing to worry about but my confidence is just higher in the Seekins.

Euro optic is now listing barrels for the PH3 that can be purchased separately from the rifle (out of stock of course).
Hopefully an indication that we will be able to swap between calibers soon. I did not notice bolt heads or mags listed though.

Hopefully the aftermarket barrel makers will start producing I would like a skinny 18”steel option. I have one carbon fiber and that is enough

Nice. They have 18" DMR uppers in 6 ARC listed as well, i thought they were only 22" previously so that is a nice update if it's real.

Has anyone received a ph3 yet? Saw one or two posts that were notified of shipping.

Does anybody have a weight on the Element short action yet? I'm a huge Seekins guy, and plan to shoot them for the rest of my life. However, this reluctance to post the weight is getting ridiculous! Tells me they realize too late that they screwed up with some of the things they added.

That’s good news I ordered mine in February so maybe by May I’ll have it that would be nice I assumed July Aug as slow as all models seem to be hitting folks hands.

If you are getting estimates from Eurooptics I would take that with a grain of salt. I previously ordered a ph2 that was on backorder because they said it would be in stock in 4-6 weeks. At 6 weeks I called to get a update. They said they were shipped and on the way to them so it would be any day. A week later I called again and was told they would look into it. I got a email saying a couple more weeks before they could get them, I was confused by this as apparently they were not being shipped. 1 month later I called and just had them cancel my order.

Long story short. I would like a ph3 and am being optimistic but not getting my hopes up.

I ran into this same run around years ago when the first Seekins element came out. I ended up waiting and waiting until someone local got it on a shelf before my pre ordered ever came in and ended up cancelling with euro.
