New patch cutter

My brother recently bought a grizzly 36x12 lathe for a steal and yesterday used a socket and turned out a patch cutter for us. He later welded a rod to it so you can chuck it into a drill.

So sharp that you can cut patches right now 1 at a time by hand.

Have a bunch of .022" pillow ticking material so when I'm able to visit, I'll bring it with me and punch out a supply of patches.

I never thought of that one. I do however cut them out on the table in the middle of winter though.. I also make my own round balls. It is so easy to do .
