Anyone else see this? I think this might be just what I need for a hunting pack. I love my Ute but it's just not got the room for gear and hauling meat at the same time. Thoughts?

I wonder if they will still do the external pack? It seems as if they are marketing this pack as a do it all pack (hunting and meat hauling included). Overall it looks nice, I really like the looks of that compression system.

for the capacity it isn't bad, not really weight competitive but still respectable (there are lots of 8+ lbs packs in that size range, and a lot of much smaller packs that weigh the same) but from what I've heard of the design I expect the external frame to be in the 4-lb range like a lot of externals. It will probably be competing on stability and modularity more then featheryness. I expect it to much more a true load-hauler and multitasker then the hybrid lightweight pack frames a lot of us use.
