So my hunting buddies want to try an outfitter in NM. We have been told about SJROuttfitter. Has anyone used them? Any one use any others that are affordable?

They have good reputation. If you getting LO tags, which are about the only way to reliably get a tag as NR in NM there is no such think as affordable when you factor the tag cost to an outfitter cost.

I have bowhunted on my own with a draw tag and LO tag, neither option is really cheap but its cheaper then an outfitter.

Give Poleo Creek Outfitters a call. They are super good guys. It is a small family operation in some beautiful country. Full disclosure I have never been a client just good friends.

Call Andy Salgado with H&A outfitters. I recommend them based on first hand experience. He guides in the Gila and will take care of license applications for you.
