....I drew 6B Early Archery as a non-guided non resident. I am utterly shook.
That’s one hell of tag. Enjoy the hunt. It’s beautiful country

I'm not even sure what absolutely terrible NR odds are for that specific hunt, but you better continue gambling while your luck is up. Wild, and congratulations!....I drew 6B Early Archery as a non-guided non resident. I am utterly shook.
About the same odds as the two primo Gila units during the rut. I.e., Not very goodI'm not even sure what absolutely terrible NR odds are for that specific hunt
That's the only way to draw 16a. 1st time applicants get it, and they suck you in for life. It's a scam. and they float money for 2 months, collect all the interest. why, because you drew 16a once. So you're hooked.
I’m not sure about this guy, but everyone cursing this shitty system and being pissed for not drawing a 1st rifle Gila tag as a nonres with a group of 8 dudes or some shit is old. You could apply 1,000 times, not draw and the system would still be fair!
just wait till you hear about E-plus or the wyoming wilderness rule...Any system that gives 10% of the tags as welfare to outfitters isn't fair.
No offense meant, just my way of agreeing with him

So excluding EPLUS the numbers are 84% res, 10% guide, 6% non-res.![]()

I haven’t looked into this lately, but about 5 years ago 20-25% of the 14000ish eplus were bought by nm residentsSo excluding EPLUS the numbers are 84% res, 10% guide, 6% non-res.
Rolling EPLUS into the numbers they say you get more like a 65%, 35% split. I wonder out of the 35% how many are res and non-res? Are there any stats that says who is buying? I'm sure it's heavily biased to non-res but curious how many res buy into EPLUS tags.
