New Mexico 26 Draw Results

....I drew 6B Early Archery as a non-guided non resident. I am utterly shook.
I'm not even sure what absolutely terrible NR odds are for that specific hunt, but you better continue gambling while your luck is up. Wild, and congratulations!

That's the only way to draw 16a. 1st time applicants get it, and they suck you in for life. It's a scam. and they float money for 2 months, collect all the interest. why, because you drew 16a once. So you're hooked.

I am 100% convinced of my theory. Therefore, I am legally changing my name, I'll get a new hunters ed card, with a new # :) and I'll apply again in a few years. **BAM**, 16a tag guaranteed.

I drew unit 15 elk first muzzy season! Stoked. Been scouring maps trying to figure out where to start and where to avoid... Likely be down there 5 days or so prior to the hunt. Never been to the unit. Anyone have any advice on places to avoid? Would love to chat with anyone that has been in the unit. Congrats to all the others that were successful!

So excluding EPLUS the numbers are 84% res, 10% guide, 6% non-res.
Rolling EPLUS into the numbers they say you get more like a 65%, 35% split. I wonder out of the 35% how many are res and non-res? Are there any stats that says who is buying? I'm sure it's heavily biased to non-res but curious how many res buy into EPLUS tags.

Some units are full of private land, but others have little to none. Unit-wide tags from landowners are finally getting some public scrutiny.

just wait till you hear about E-plus or the wyoming wilderness rule...

Haha can't wait to "find out this new info"! Old news... but no doubt it's a screw job and another form of welfare.

I'd love to rant about either or both, but I've done enough of that on both topics in the past and this site is full of others who have too, so no point.

I haven’t looked into this lately, but about 5 years ago 20-25% of the 14000ish eplus were bought by nm residents
