A LOT of it is folks needing to justify the cost of their new attention whore toy. Tell yourself whatever you need to. I've never used a bipod in the field. I have used a tree though. Again, most folks wouldn't know the difference. I don't have an axis, but all the dead critters I have never complained about my savage.

I agree and most of the time it is the carpenter not the tool. Some guys can just flat out shoot no matter the rifle, while others can't no matter how much they spend

Every deer I have shot the last ten years has been off a bi pod and most of those years I had 4 tags if not 6. Almost every person I hunt with shoots deer off their bi pods out here on the prairie. So your point of not using bipod means nothing. Why do you always get so but hurt and try to justify that the cheapest equipment is all that is needed.

even with practice there are some people that just can't shoot. They flinch, they jerk the trigger, they can't control their breathing, etc. etc.

Bullcrap. Everyone here is a tacticool flat brim sniper with all the perfect extreme gear, perfect coffee, excellently shaved balls for mountain climbing aerodynamics, and crossfit Dodge Ram driving Monster Energy Drink junkies.

Only problem is finding the ultimate hardcore rifle that can keep up with the hardcore lifestyle.

Until now.....

Not sure why Kimber buids a light weight rifle and then puts a useless slab of extra weight on the side of the bolt. I might buy one, when they start building them in a push feed.

MAN !! the more I read posts on rokslide the more I find myself thinking there should be "R & D" posted with screen names ! ..... the world contains differing opinions folks !! get over it !

So, the 'get over it' part only starts after you get your comments in? ;)

I might actually buy that. Those lightweight hunters are a heck of a bargain and they shoot amazing.
