Why not offer these or all packs for both duplex and with its own suspension, just like the timberline was?

Somebody will figure out a way to secure this bag to the duplex frame. From what I understand the only part of the suspension that cant be removed is the torso pads. If that proves to be true it should be doable.

As much as I really want a terryall I'm going to try and get a couple more seasons out of my old late season and probably pickup the new tut shelter. That's almost exactly what I've been trying to find.

I just can't find the need for an internal frame pack at that cost at this time...I really want one and they look awesome...maybe one of these days, but yesterday I did pull the trigger on a Tut!!! Can't wait to get it!

I'm sure it's possible, but I'm not spending $500+ on a new pack to throw half of it away to mount it on my $375 frame.

We actually have a lot of guys that strap something like the 14'r on a frame and then use the 14'r as a daypack and the frame for the heavy load hauling out. I'm thinking that's what he was talking about.

We've probably set up 30+ frames for guys with the Zippy attached for this type of thing.

Aron, are there going to be any videos going over the new suspension, and some of the features of the terryall?

Aron, can you comment on the packs fit, load hauling ability, and weight when using carbon arrows instead of regular stays? I saw that was an option on both packs.

A few questions:

What does the tarryall weigh with carbon fiber arrows?

Does the listed weight (4.35lbs) include the hip belt, and if not how much does a belt add?

About the 23-inch stays. The video mentioned that customers had wanted longer stays for the zing but shorter for the late season. I can see why the zing might need longer stays, but the comment about the late season doesn't make sense to me. Aside from customer commentary, what are the advantages of the shorter stays? Presumably, there were some customers who were happy with the late season's longer stays.

7 ounces less than listed with arrows.

Weight includes belt

I'll comment more on your last question when I get in front of the computer.

Obviously I can't speak for Aron but I love my Late Season and its ability to swap from 22" to 24" stays fairly easily. Typically I run 22" arrows for stays in a lighter weight training mode or light weight day trips. If I plan to train or carry heavy I swap in a pair of 24" arrows and it gives me the height I need to get most of the weight on my hips (up to 80#'s anyway). I also swap the shorter stays in when I travel because it's lower height helps fit in airline seats and overhead compartments and wears a little more streamline on my back.

Would the Teryall be big enough for overnights? Looking for something to use for high country fly fishing trips, overnights and hunting day pack. Either that or going with one of the larger bags whigh may be more versatile. Maybe both...

if you just want one backpack i would think you would be better off with the duplex or UL and pick smaller bag
maybe the, nomad, 22mag or the like, and use a camp bag for extended trips

to me the thing with the teryall is like aron says in the video it isn't set up for added external pockets, making it the size it is...

i purchased the hunter, 22mag, with some pockets and such, i did get a 55l OR bag as well, i cannot imagine carrying anymore stuff than this combo can haul

to me the initial investment in the duplex and bags is steeper but so much more versatile than a all in one unit.
i did just get a spike camp and absolutely love it, but i cannot imagine going 2- 3 days hunting with it, unless i was hunting grouse or fishing like you mentioned. i have loaded it with 40lbs and carried it and it handles it well, but not the same comfort as the duplex.

it is nice having a all in one pack like the spike camp for day trips and hikes
more so than using the duplex and bag for that
with that said
during elk season i will walk around with the duplex and its load hauling capabilities for day or backpack hunts

just depends on how much gear you want or can afford i guess
