Defiance Antix AW feeding

I recently purchased a defiance antix, in hopes of getting it to feed out of AW mags. I have been testing it, and struggling to get reliability. At the 4-5 round they are starting to tip up, and the bolt slips over the base. Image for reference.

The mag is snug against the bottom of the action. It seems to be that the feed plate is tipping.
