Same, I still haven’t done anything with my Mini yet because I’m waiting on the floorplate to release. I’m going to rebarrel mine I think but haven’t decided what caliber yet.
It's been a while, I'm wondering too. It would be nice to start a build without needing a floor plate right off the bat.
It's been almost two years, beginning to lose hope at this point. I'd have bought a couple Howa Minis already if they would just hurry up and release the new bottom metal.
That was another thought I had. Let’s you carry the rifle in one hand at the right balance point. The factory mag is located right where I like to place my hand to carry a rifle.
Yes, it's a must have IMO as others have said. I have two now. The hinged version is excellent. They made some subtle changes to them since the last one. The new version is slightly heavier with a wider trigger guard.
That would be awesome, thank you. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the hinged floor plate but everything on this site is positive. Cabelas has club member Mondays this month so I’ll likely order my rifle tomorrow with that discount plus my accumulated Cabelas bucks for the year.
