Just ordered a mini barreled action in .223 from Brownells for $349!. This will be my first mini action rifle. I am excited to see what Howa comes out with in a hinged floor plate. I can already tell I'm not going to like the factory bottom metal and magazines.

Same, I still haven’t done anything with my Mini yet because I’m waiting on the floorplate to release. I’m going to rebarrel mine I think but haven’t decided what caliber yet.

I have the Jefferson hinged floorplate on my 6.5 Grendel. Functions and feeds flawlessly. Would definitely buy again. Required upgrade for a mini IMO.

As long as the function of the floor plate and follower is great I’m all for doing away with the factory mag and plastic. Looks much better to me.

That was another thought I had. Let’s you carry the rifle in one hand at the right balance point. The factory mag is located right where I like to place my hand to carry a rifle.

Yes, it's a must have IMO as others have said. I have two now. The hinged version is excellent. They made some subtle changes to them since the last one. The new version is slightly heavier with a wider trigger guard.

I also ordered one of the $199 "blem" stocks. I'll try and get some side by side pics posted.

That would be awesome, thank you. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the hinged floor plate but everything on this site is positive. Cabelas has club member Mondays this month so I’ll likely order my rifle tomorrow with that discount plus my accumulated Cabelas bucks for the year.
