New Hornady Aeromatch bullets

So Berger (Lapua) ) is a huge international conglomerate company. I don't think there is any love lost with copying designs by Lapua.

To me it just seems like they would have to stoop pretty low to offer that blatant of a copy and even advertise it that way. But it sure seems like that's what they're doing when I look at it again.
In the past I would have been in total agreement with you, but after waiting anywhere from six months to 18 months to get the bullets I want I am applauding this decision because these designs just flat out work

Sierra and Berger must have really bad management to not capitalize on the demand for their products.

Like the old saying goes “Make hay while the sun shines”

Well, yes, but if you overexpand in a boom time you might not make it through the bust.
Theres a lot of companies in bankruptcy right now that were killing it 3 years ago.

Yes, standing by for updates on these in the wild!

Edit: Looks like available at grafs. 140s are more expensive than actual 140 hybrids at powder valley right now though. 105s are a few cents cheaper than the real thing. Hard to want to try them if you can get the real deal for the same price.

Anyone shoot any of these yet?

Got 500 to break in a barrel and shoot for prairie dogs if they work well.

I have yet to have a 6mm barrel that shot a 105 hybrid poorly

Been shooting 140s for the past few months I’m about 900 into my 2000 bought, my steel seekins barrel doesn’t love them. My best load is like 1in for 10 shots. my carbon barrel does ok with then 5/8-3/4 consistently for 5-8 shot groups.

My trued bc is .303 in my 24in steel and .311 in the 26in carbon

They are pretty consistent at extended ranges probably more so than a eld m. I haven’t shot them back to back in the same conditions to draw a hard conclusion.

I’m getting 2740-2770 depending on the temps with 41.7 h4350 in Hornady brass in the 24in

And 2800-2810 with the carbon same charge

I wish they would do a heavy like 150gr ish aeromatch kinda compete with the 150gr sierra and 153.5 berg. I only say that bc the price of the Aeros is pretty good bs the competition.

That being said I use them as practice rounds, i shoot 147s for NRL hunter out of the 26in and will be going back to eld ms in the steel for PRS
