New developments coming this summer

Brigham thanks so much for taking the time to answer all of these questions. I’m really looking forward to buy and try every single piece I’ve seen here. One question, the internal belt pant i have run in the past are typically great initially but the belt starts to slip after a period of time. Usually this occurs quite quickly. Have you guys encountered this problem or done anything to prevent it? Thank you

I took out the latest prototype version of this pant yesterday on a training hike up a local mountain while wearing a 40 lb K4 pack. The integrated internal belt was absolutely awesome. I always wear a belt with whatever pants I’m using while wearing a pack, as pants always seem to sag down after a while from the lumbar pad. Not so with this design. The locking buckle on the internal belt did not slip at all.

Will the final version feature longer vents or will they remain the size shown here?

Happy to answer as many questions as I can.

When you say the belt starts to slip, are you referring to the belt webbing slipping through the belt tensioner?

This isn't something that we've have reports of through all of the testing. We use a locking tensioner that basically clamps down in a locked position on the webbing as it is routed through the tensioner. It works very well.
The internal belt looks very similar to what OV uses on their Satu pants. I've had 3 pairs of them for a few years now and have never had an issue with belt slippage. Love the fact that I don't have to wear a separate belt!

This is difficult to answer in a meaningful way, as it is very subjective and context dependent. Quiet to one person is not quiet enough to another and vice versa. I’d say these are in the middle. Priority number 1 wasn’t to make the quietest pants, which means that these are not. But we certainly wanted to avoid a noisy pants if we could, and I think we did. You’ll find quieter pants and noisier pants.

But in terms of real world hunting use, I’m a bow hunter (compound) primarily. And I have stalked into multiple bucks under 60 yards, several times without the buck knowing I existed. And I’ve spent consecutive days within 100 yards of mature bucks, from sunrise to sunset and never felt like the pants were limiting my effectiveness or capability.

Sorry to disappoint, but these pants are NOT iPad compatible. And they don’t have knee pad pockets either.

I meant to reply to this with my above comments

What do ipad compatible pants do? Or am I supposed to control the pocket closures and thigh vents via a phone app?

Typo? What on earth were you trying to write that spellcheck turned it into “ipad compatible”???

I think he’s saying that the pockets aren’t huge?
