New Appliances

Bosch is the only DW worth buying that’s reasonably priced.
GE Monogram is a nice alternative to high end appliances.
Do not buy Samsung/LG anything.

Our Bosch dishwasher is doing okay, knock on wood.

And agree 100% on Samsung and LG.

Our brand new KitchenAid fridge had an icemaker that died in the first month in March. Still waiting for them to get it fixed.

Appliances seems like a market where a company can build one thing really good and the other thing not so much.

If you have to have all matching, then you’re kind of stuck with rolling the dice.

If you don’t have to have all matching, you can generally get better overall.

I agree on Samsung. We bought a house that had them in it. The stove sucks. The fridge sucks. The microwave has been good. Dishwasher blows a donkey dong.

Samsung and LG are trash.
Bosch makes the best dishwasher, id say whirlpool is second.

I have a full whirlpool set at our house now.

If you have a ferguson supply house go in and talk to someone on the sales floor. They do inventory swap every so often and sell displays CHEAP.

Our kitchen doesn't "match". Bosch DW is amazingly quiet and works fantastic. Avoid Samsung and LG based on some bad experience by me and a few other family members. Samsung puts all this cool tech in their stuff, but their core features suck bad and break often.

Buy the appliance you NEED and wait till you NEED to replace the others after they fail. Zero reason to upgrade them all just because, unless you have the money to do so and/or are remodeling.

Bosch is the best brand on the market, especially dishwashers. I would consider them for other kitchen appliances as well.

As mentioned above, Speed Queen rules the washer and dryer market. They are indestructible. Their downside is that their capacity/drum size is very small.
