I was actually going to do this with a triad tactical stock pack but if you’re going to do it right, I’m interested.

Need a couple testers of the prototype, mainly to get it on the stock and check the spacer system I have set up to get the fit right.

Someone who can see it for what it can be and give suggestions to fit your needs.

I can add a pocket, ammo loops, or anything else on the offside.

The lacing is minimalist, but I plan on working up a version with more wrap and put the laces close like a shoe on the offside.

I need some beta testers for the next gen prototypes of the negative comb cheek risers.

I have the form and function of the riser nailed down, just working on the pocket size and bullet holder size and placement.

Also, will be working on a velcro closure version.

PM me if interested.

I think something could be made to accomplish both benefits of the negative comb.

It would have to be a module of sorts. Take off the recoil pad from the but stock. The module slides down on to the top of the butt stock raising the very back of the stock above centerline of bore, then the module planes in at a negative comb down onto the top of the buttstock. Then you reinstall the recoil pad over the module and you now have the recoil transferring into that module.

Does this make sense? I'm not good at drawing, but I could potentially draw it.

It would have to be made of kydex, or fiberglass. And might not look pretty if it wasn't made for individual rifle stocks, but it would accomplish transferring the energy into the right location.

Edit, picture added, the dotted line represents a VERY ROUGH, idea of what I'm describing.

I thought through this, and would make/use an adjustable buttpad that can be moved. I liked this style. I had on a rifle that I canted the buttstock so that it shouldered perfectly every time.

If you watch videos about fitting a shotgun, they go through the process and show how the buttstock can be tweaked to bring recoil inline and reduce movement off target.

We rifle shooters are a bit behind that custom fitting.

This thread cracks me up. Why don’t you just start with a properly designed stock with correct negative drop built in to it? Ever see a Weatherby Mk V stock?
