G'day guys,

Wanting to get into bow hunting after having spent most of my whole life hunting with a rifle. However my problem is that my draw length is of 32-32.5 inches limits me on the bows that i can select from. Been looking at the Prime centergy/Hybrid however they cap out at 31 inch and not sure wether or not this 1 inch difference will my shooting or affect my accuracy? Also any other recommendation on bows that would suit this draw?

Thanks in advance guys.

Are you sure your 32.5 how tall are you? Yes if your 32 it's a big difference shooting 31.

You will always be the most accurate with a bow that fits you correctly and allows you to use good form. With that long of a draw length, I would recommend the following:

Hoyt Double XL: max DL 33
Hoyt RX1 Ultra: max DL 32
Bowtech BT-Mag X: max DL 34

You could squeeze another 1/2 inch out of the Ultra easy by switching to side plates to gain about a 1/4 inch and adding twists to the cables to gain an extra 1/4 inch if you are okay with extra draw weight. More than likely, the Hoyt Ultra will run about a 1/4 inch long anyway. Either way, a good shop can do it or I can walk you through it. The Double XL and BT-Mag X would be good to go out of the box.
