Necking down with a bushing die? 6/7prc

Good question. Guess i don't know the answer though. I necked down 7prc to 6.5 in several increments of .005-.007" at a time. With the bushing just shy of tight in the die, mine didn't form any obvious donut i don't think. Mine squeezed the neck down about all the way to the shoulder. So long as you can get them into your chamber for the first firing it shouldn't matter and should form just fine. I'd recommend fire forming all with a fairly mild charge, removing the ejector plunger if applicable, and loading to a little jam for that first firing to keep the head seated into the bolt face.
