What is DV?

Again. Your argument doesn’t follow logic. It’s a dead end and a bit of anecdotal evidence isn’t convincing.

If they are actually closing prisons and locking up fewer people I consider that good news. No doubt some should be locked up. Many should not. Our prison system is deeply flawed.

Domestic Violence.

I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. I'm simply stating that if anyone thinks there'll be sanctions imposed on someone for making a false claim they obviously don't know the criminal justice system or live in a very small area where a DA can actually file on a charge like that. I can tell you in most major areas that would never see a court room.

If you have no desire to persuade then why debate?

Your examples are unfortunate and more evidence that our justice system is flawed. It’s a separate issue from red flag laws.

2- The term is not an insult. I am ignorant to astrophysics. It wouldn’t an insult if someone pointed that out.

The very definition of the word you used, ironically (though not surprisingly), doesnt agree with your "interpretation."

Here's the definition of ignorant, seeing as how you have a limited understanding of your supposed vast vocabulary.

Ignorant-lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
