Tried one last night on the mountain, went with the Creamy rice w/ chicken. It didn't taste bad at all, wasn't much difference than a MH. I couldn't finish it, just too much for me, and I can usually hammer a double serving of MH without any problem. I think there may be potential for these.

I tried one of these this summer cause they had them here in my small town grocery store and they are cheap. I had the stroganoff, which is probably my favorite MH. I thought it was nasty, the MH was far better. Thats the only flavor I have tried though.

Had the stroganoff and the brocaly/ rice and cheese. Both were great tasting and very filling. They take a touch more water than mountain house and I let them sit for the full ten minutes per directions on the package. There a great addition to the backpacking menu.

So for the guys who used these in the field this season, what is the verdict? Good, bad or ugly? Any gas problems, taste or other issues?
