Like selling a Chevy Nova in MexicoI was thinking the same, but then realized anything that has ābreaksā in it probably isnāt great advertising, especially not a rifle. Kind of like the idea of wilderness of āno returnā. Bad for publicity.
Might have to save this name for the wood rokstok version!Big Timber

Meadowlark may not sound mean enough but in the link I posted it also says this: āThe Blackfoot see Meadowlark as a bringer of peace and protection.ā Who wouldnāt want a rifle that would bring the animals we are hunting to peace quick and ethically and protect us from all things that may hunt or harm us. And I know the name is for a western hunting rifle so technically the Montana state bird is the western meadowlarkYeah, the Memphis thing throws a lot of people off. How about Lead Farmer or "FR" for Full Retard?
Love it, but the fun police will veto it...
Long story, but yes.
Hey, I resemble this remark!
Growing up in Kansas, I dig it (meadowlark is the KS state bird too). Probably not mean enough though.
Lets leave the IPAs out of it sir! Though rumor has it, our sales manager is fond of them
In all seriousness, thanks for the ideas guys. Just to be clear, I'm the nerd in charge of technical stuff, and try to stay out of the marketing decisions. I'm sure we'll toss a bone to whoever came up with what's picked.
