My gear/pack layout from base layers to binos

Thanks for posting. That looks sharp. I'm strongly considering ordering their Greenspot DV Jacket with a hood to begin with. Was the chest pocket part of their "bespoke" custom service?

I think their bespoke service is more for fully custom designed pieces. They just charged me a small fee for adding the pocket. Seems like they’ll do a fair bit of modifying like that if you request it. I asked about other color options and they said they could make the bealach out of L34 instead of L35 if I wanted olive, for example. Report back on what they say about adding a hood. I was considering the greenspot sv as well. Might get one in blaze at some point and a hood added could be nice.

Allows for more temp regulation, but heavier for an already-heavy piece ...

What says the Slide Mind?

I had suggested they produce a 1/4 zip model due to the snug fit of the neck and I’ll be getting one.

I prefer 1/4 zips and the zipper weight is relatively insignificant compared to how much heavier the sweater is then other pieces.

I thought I'd missed it too ... your message prompted me to look in my deleted emails - it was buried deep in an Atlantic Rancher email about Portugal.

Good thing for all of us that @The Ri Guy reads his emails thoroughly! (y)
I found it - thanks.

That neck is snug, but good. Agreed the 1/4 zip is a good option, and unfortunately I’m sure I will get one. Just wish there were more color options, with the number I have. As for the weight, I agree the sweater starts out pretty heavy already.

1) Can the Greenspot SV Light Jacket come with a hood?
“Yes we can supply a hood with the SV Cycling Jacket, the additional cost is £50.”

2) What is the weight of the Greenspot DV Jacket with a hood?
“The weight for the DV Cycling jacket varies on the size, I would estimate about 0.9kg.”

Agreed the neck is good, and it did loosen up.

Form, or anyone else - have you tried any of there warm wool? The mountain jacket and anorak seem remarkable. Crazy expensive tho.

The video of him going for a river swim in 20 degrees with it on cool.

Maybe this works better

Ton's of reviews on YT about them, I plan to pick one up one day but doubt I'd use it for more than day hunts.

Common consensus seems to be that it's too bulky for packing in deep. That being said, some very active bushcrafter's I watch use it regularly and actively with no complaints in appropriate weather.

I might order one in Q2, will report back if I do.

Wow, and I thought the Atlantic Rancher stuff was spendy!

Might've just sold me on the jetboil, been hearing nothing but good and wanna have it for camping and backpacking as well so I think she's the one.
