Mtngear chassis

I see on their website, they have sold a few of these already, currently sold out, and they’re producing more. Has anyone been able to drop and action into one of these lightweights and try them. All I’ve seen is Avery fondling one at shot show so far.

On the fence for a stock on a current lightweight build, and would consider one of these. I’m curious how they feel and shoot compared to the other lightweight chassis. Thanks

I handled one at an expo. Did not get to mount it. The one I handled seems to be an “all compromises” way to mount a barreled action with a folding stock at the absolute minimum weight. It flexed lot. It seemed like it would not be solid for shooting compared to a real stock. Notably less solid imo compared to HNT26. I am convinced I’d shoot worse with it compared to really anything.

With that said, paired with a 223/6 ARC to maybe a 22 / 6 Creed, it would be the lightest way I know of to take an effective long range rifle to go sheep hunting, etc.
