Do you feel a cheek riser necessary for your Tikka?

I love mine. T3x Superlite in 308 with Pic Rail, Talley 30mm Rings with my 40mm Objective. There's something, for me, not having to worry about adjustment. I'm pressing my cheek in and i'm on.

Well victor cheek riser showed up and now have my new default for T084 ring setup. And bolt still comes out. Even with the single slimmest spacer it was too tall, so no spacers for me and T084. 1 minute install.

I make good use of a cheek riser on a tikka but it's not worth the money to buy a factory stock with one. Some foam and your favorite type of wrap does it for practically free.

Not sure about a factory stock.
But my Roks have a padded riser. This is just some foam Form put on with some bandage tape. My 6 UM has a UM neoprene pad with skate tape on the underside.
Main reason is it helps me drive the stock onto my face and keep it there through reset and prep. The texture on the bottom also helps with recoil control.

The super thin stainless barrel makes me nervous it can’t really handle an all day range sesh.
Not really an issue with Sako/Tikka barrels
