I have searched on here and can not find a clear answer, but before I get my first suppressor, I want it to be able to be "tucked" under my ar handguard (s). Specially on my 300 BO. But to be able to put them on any and all of my ar's including AR10... Im not worried about the length, weight etc, I just need it to be a quiet as possible with the ability to take it on and off from under a handguard. I understand some mounts, will not work because there is no way to loosen or tighten them under the handguard. I just dont need to know what mount type works best for this. IF I just made any sense at all lol But I am thinking some reflex over the barrels will work like A&B Raptor 10, and some YHM mounts will, but Im thinking the direct thread would work pretty easily, but I think I want a "system" that I can put on a couple different firearms, and switch the suppressor out pretty quickly? Thoughts? or am I way over thinking this like I normally do. Also Im limited on the brands I can get through SS with my local dealers as well. Which is pretty much, A&B, CGS, Otter Creek, Diligent, CAT, Dead Air, Liberty Precision, PTR and maybe one other I cant think of. The other dealers around me want $150+ to do a transfer, and why when I can go through SS for free....also I know the diameter of the can has to fit under the handguard, I can take care of that, I just want to know the best way to mount, and take off a can the easiest. Thanks in advance.

You will want to go with a direct thread. Any other mount usually requires some sort of collar that would just be difficult.

Depending on how “deep” you want your suppressor, you’ll get a handguard hotter, much quicker.

It looks dope AF, but it’s pretty impractical in my experience.
Thanks!, I was wondering about the heat as well lol this search for a suppressor is just mind numbing lol

I have a few YHM cans with their QD mounting system. It's quick, easy, and holds things tight.

You only need to be able to grab the suppressor to thread it on and off. There's no collar or latch you need to access, so the YHM system should work well with the suppressor tucked under the hand guard. You just need enough of the muzzle end of the suppressor sticking out to grab onto and twist.

Thanks! I have bought their handguards for years, but until recently didnt know they were making stuff since the 50's.
