Mountain Tactical .223 Magazine Not Feeding?

I bit the bullet and ordered 2 of the Waterman mags. Had good communication with David throughout the process and received them in 2 days from Australia.

What I wasn’t told is that they come unassembled. I’m sure there’s a reason for this but I don’t recall that info being disclosed.

It will be a simple assembly but I think they should tell or remind the purchaser that “some assembly required” is necessary.

They look to be very high quality. I’ll report back once I get them assembled and run some ammo through them.

Easy to put together. From my communication with them (also after the fact, I was a little annoyed as well) it has to do with export restrictions. Assembled it’s a gun component, and heavily regulated. Unassembled it’s just pieces.

I figured import restriction was the reason.

Resurrecting and old thread here. Don't waste your time with the new Mountain Tactical 223 mags. I just got one to try and it failed in the same fashion right out of the package. $75.00 I should have put towards waters rifleman mags.

I have the same experience with their 6.5 CM magazine.
