I'm getting my first ever shoulder mount and never really gave it a thought before on what pose I would like. I was thinking full sneak with a slight right turn but the semi sneak seems like the more natural pose to me. Just wondering what everyone else has went with also this mount will be about 7' up on the wall or so. Thanks for your input.

This is the last one I had done, it was designed by my taxidermist, he made the mold, he is very good

The only buck I've ever mounted was my Wyoming high country buck. I did the full alert pose (can't remember the actual name), and with the head slightly turned to the right, about 20 degrees or so. Initially I really liked the sneak and semi-sneak, but as I was going through some pics I had of the buck on the hill two days before the season opened, he was always on high alert. I even have a video of him and he was moving real slow and cautious, taking a few steps then holding his head up high and scanning all the hillside below him, moving a few more steps and doing the same thing. So because of that I decided to do the high alert pose that I did, since that's how I remembered seeing him as I was watching him.

I don't have a picture of it that I'm able to upload now but I can later.
