OK, but be sure and call CS as a last resort. They need to know. and there's a small chance they can reconnect.

and a few questions:

1) what type batts (lithium or alkaline)
2) How many pics per day were you receiving
3) do you remember what setting you had photo on? 0 seconds, 15, 1 minute?
4) what upload frequency? (Immediate, 24 hrs, ?)

that should've ran a year.

Only extra drain is on battery if cell signal is super weak, but still.

Call CS.

I'm calling it as a complete cam fail, not battaries. Could be wrong but like I wrote above, it did happen on one my cameras.

Moultrie CS has been very helpful in my experience (in the last week) and they can do a lot to see what's going on. Mine had the IR illuminator go out and they told me to give it a bath and they'll send me a new one. Pretty sweet deal.

I have had several occasions where the batteries went from showing 35-55% to dying too though.

thanks and yes, their CS is really good.

I'm glad you mention the battery meter. I've seen some strange stuff a few times like that. 35% battery, then it dies. I'll call CS and they confirm, visit the cam and sure enough it's dead.

but most of the time with alkaline, it's been pretty reliable down to about 10%, then it can die any day.
