So what does everyone think about this setup? I like the idea of having two barrels for one gun. I'm a little concerned about the weight for hunting. Thoughts?

• Best overall recommendation: Zermätt TL3 or SR3 action + TriggerTech Diamond + Proof CF prefit 280 AI (cerakote) + Zermätt Matterhorn.
• Expected carry weight: about 10–11 lb bare, ~11–12.5 lb scoped, depending on exact barrel length and optic.

What is the weight breakdown of your bare rifle? I can’r help but think you could easily get it to 7.5lbs bare, 9-9.5lbs scoped.

I haven't bought any of it yet. I was just considering that set-up.

You should be able to get the bare rifle to 7-7.5lbs easy. You will be sitting pretty.

I don’t own but I think .280 AI is one of the best cartridges made.
