Monopod Head/clamp

Because I am into photography, I have a really nice , carbon fiber monopod which might come in handy for an upcoming hunt. I do not, however, have any kind of hunting suitable head for it.

Are any of the inexpensive "V" heads worth using? Maybe an inexpensive clamp?

Because I normally use a bipod, I don't want to invest in an expensive, long term solution. Nevertheless, I have a hunt coming up where a monopod might be an over offhand.

I carry a primos trigger stick tripod with a standard V yoke.
Last year I used it to kill a deer in a situation that had I not had it, would have been off hand. We’ll worth the weight IMO.

I would recommend trying one to see what you think.
