I ended up buying a Peak 44 black tooth; won’t have it in time for this hunt, but I will do the victor cheek riser and vert grip module for now.

I already got the barrel chopped to 16.5”.

Scope is inbound, Leupy Mk4HD 2.5-10 FFP TMR and have UM rings waiting for it.

I have not tried the stocky’s VG but the grip looks way too far back to me. I can’t see that trigger reach working out for me even with an XL glove size.
Always makes me wonder how that made it to production if it is common comment trigger reach is too long. I heard a brief comment on the original podcast on making the rokstock but have not been able to put one in my hands.

I added a vertical grip and Matthew's fabrication cheek riser with lower profile bolts. The bolt on cheek riser hasn't snagged anything or gave me issues hunting last year.Untitled.jpg

I have a stockys vg hunter,a bell and carlson, and a bravo. That bell and carlson just feels right. It has great texture and adds some good feeling weight. And they'll do a custom lop for you. The vg feels nice, but does have a slick finish.
