I agree too, but I don't make the high school kid getting paid $2.13/hr suffer for it.
I see signs hung up at fast food joints offering $17+/hr to start.

This ain't the 60's. kids are making $20 per for standing at the counter handing you your burger.I agree too, but I don't make the high school kid getting paid $2.13/hr suffer for it.
He's talking about tipped employees, who do make $2.13/hour, but tip share.I see signs hung up at fast food joints offering $17+/hr to start.

When was the last time you all tipped at a fast food restaurant?I see signs hung up at fast food joints offering $17+/hr to start.

The current federal minimum wage in the USA is $7.75. Where do you get $2.13/hour.They sure do, and your waiter or bartender at establishments that don't have a drive through are still making $2.13/hour + tips.
One of the last times I flew out of ATL, I checked my bag at the outdoor Delta kiosk just because I was walking past it anyway. I started to walk away when the sassy black woman told me her hourly wage and that people usually tip...for someone to put my bag on a conveyor outside instead of inside?
Common sense has to be applied at some point. I wasn't suggesting you should tip anybody who holds their hand out or puts a jar next to the cash register, but when you take the family out for dinner, what's the difference between tipping 15-20% or paying 15-20% more because they jacked up the prices when the employees demanded more money? A burger doesn't cost 50 cents anymore either.

Nobody is making them work that job.
I'd prefer a fixed price vs some poor me guilt trip thats laid on every customer that walks in the door.
Walmart+ is legit! saves me a lot of gas money living in the country. We are 20 minutes from town and get free delivery, they have the 49$ per year sale on currently also. Complete no brainerWalMart and many local grocers offer free curbside pickup these days and it has been a big saver for our household. Shopping on the app eliminates the impulsivity as you have to search for each item and add it to your cart rather than walking up and down the aisles and seeing/buying things you weren't originally there for just because they caught your eye. Additionally, you can check what you have as you shop and eliminate duplicates without having to memorize your entire pantry and fridge.
Along the same lines, Walmart ran a promotion where a year of their Walmart+ premium subscription was only $50. That includes grocery delivery if you're within their radius. I spend more than $50 in gas per year if we go to Walmart every weekend in addition to vehicle wear/tear so that was a no-brainer.
I canceled my $25/month gym membership. . .Cancel gym membership work out at home...
I canceled my $25/month gym membership. . .
and then bought $3,000 worth of gym equipment for my garage. haha
Not necessarily money saving, but the convenience is nice.
