I purchased a 2024 Outback Wilderness three months ago, and have no regrets. It’s not going to do any rock crawling, but it will take me on some rutted up unmaintained Forest service roads with no problems. It’s also my daily driver, and I’m averaging almost 25 mpg with 50/50 Highway and around town. The turbo makes it fun to drive, and at 6’5” I have tons of leg room and head room even with the sunroof. I added some Rallitek Springs, which raised the already decent ground clearance by an additional 3/4”, and some Primitive Racing skid plates for piece of mind.
