Hi Doug, I'm interested in how these Meopro scopes compare optically to the Optika6 line, as well as their performance relative to Leupold VX-3i and VX-5 lines. I'm looking for a good, all purpose scope in the 12-14x range, large objective, plex reticle.

The Meopro is actually a higher line product. The Optik Binocular and Optika6 riflescope lines are now their entyr level, then Meopro then Meostar

someone please buy that spotter. I can’t take looking at that price any longer.
We have a bunch of these so please feel free to give a call to get yours on the way :)

Hi Doug. Do the Meopro dial up distance by twisting counterclockwise like most US scopes or are they clockwise? I had a Leica Magnus that was clockwise (a euro thing I believe) and while the glass was great my brain did not like the opposite rotation. Thanks in advance!

The s2 spotter deal is great, the s2 is an amazing piece of glass. I'm yet to really run it through its paces but initial use confirms for me I made the right choice.

I checked with Erik the teck guy who is at the NBS Show this weekend. He replied:

"New production should be CCW; MeoPro that are older stock or assembled in the U.S. seem to all have CW rotation. New production would be serial numbers R18----- or R19-----. I just looked at a bunch of MeoPro samples we have here at NBS and all of them except one with an R17 serial are clockwise rotation. It seems to be a bit of a crap shoot on anything older; it’s almost like we were using up old clockwise adjustment systems until they ran out. I guess Europeans aren’t as picky about which way the adjustment rotates. "

Thanks for the quick response Doug. I just bought the 4.5-14x50 so I hope it is CCW.
