Considering his message has always been pro hunting and pro public land, I'm not all that shocked by this. Honestly it just looks like more like as smart business move for the investment group to buy in to this media organization so early. Ben O'Brien gets old fast but the rest of the contributors I like quite a bit. Since I've not seen or heard anything anti 2A from this platform I'm not going to rush to any conclusion. I see it just as likely, if not more, that a liberal sells out his position in order to make money as Rinella doing it.

Ridiculous that people are attacking Rinella over this. He is aligning himself with people that support our lifestyle and support public lands. You don’t have to agree with everything to still support the cause. You also don’t have to agree with everyone that’s involved. He’s a great ambassador for hunting and public lands. As a recent transplant to the Bay Area coworkers of mine that have never hunted ask me all the time about it because they’ve either seen the TV show or heard him on podcasts. Lots of people think all hunters are a bunch of bloodthirsty Elmer fudd’s. He’s changing that perception daily.

It's been interesting reading this thread. The usual suspects defending this outrageous deal.
Some guys would sell their kid to Satan if it turned them a profit. And that's probably a pretty good analogy in this case.
Some things should transcend money.

Exactly. I would imagine he's making some money off this, he's earned it, but I have no reason to believe this is solely financially motivated.
