This kind of sound reasoning is exactly what we super-consumers do not tolerateBump isn't a big deal guys
While it's totally unnecessary, it's not going to make you shoot any different
And if it bothers someone that much, grind the nub off and paint over it.
Maybe a name change is in orderThis kind of sound reasoning is exactly what we super-consumers do not tolerate
In all seriousness, the nub is not keeping me from buying this stock ha. But very glad we can call it the "Nub"
Large hand guys complain you cannot engauge the grip with all 4 fingers. The grip isn't designed to be. The index or firing trigger is meant to be straight out at all time parallel to the trigger. Only a 3 finger engagement. I carry around 25# prs rifles with the same 3 finger grip. If you need all 4 finger squeeze to carry your 10# hunting gun, well I don't know what to say.I seem to recall reading about large hand folks having a problem getting a full grip due to the reference point nub. I think they had trouble with their pinky finger hanging off the grip.
I have and I have no respect for the NubLarge hand guys complain you cannot w gauge the grip with all 4 fingers. The grip isn't designed to be. Everyone complaining about the trigger bump, how many people have actually put 50-100+ rounds down a stock or chassis that has one? Or are you all just griping because you don't like the looks, or the theory of its function, or just ignorant to what it's really there for?
Explain the downfalls of the trigger bump please........If you look at all the LR series stocks from McMillan, you'll see a few common themes. Negative combs with relatively high butt pad position to norm, and the trigger bump.I have and I have no respect for the Nub
In other news, only 8 more Nubs left before this hits production!
I don't consider my hands large but I do hang my pinky finger off the bottom of most stocks to get a straight trigger pull. I hang it off the bottom of the grip and then close it slightly to keep it tight to the bottom of the grip. Again, I kind of look forward to trying the bump even know my pinky might still hang off.Large hand guys complain you cannot engauge the grip with all 4 fingers. The grip isn't designed to be.
