Very curious if there was a conversation between “Rokslide” and maven, and how that went. I imagine making a durable scope is difficult..but maven does it on the first try? Would love some backstory, Maven

Not the first try.

The first Maven scope tested was abysmal failure (different model).

@Formidilosus and @Ryan Avery did you guys participate with maven on the design of this scope? Or at least criteria/features (reticle, zero retention, etc?)? Or did they figure this out on their own?

I’m quite interested as to what was changed and if there is a “formula” to look for in a scope for durability. Coil spring erector system as opposed to leaf? A certain epoxy system for the lenses?
