Maven C3 questions

So I've been considering pulling the trigger on some Maven C3 10x50s for a little while now. The only thing that concerns me is the narrow FOV at 1,000 yds (262 ft) versus the binoculars I have now (Vortex Viper 10x42s). However, my vipers lose a ton of sharpness at the edges so if the Mavens have better edge to edge sharpness then that narrower field of view might not be so bad. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I had a pair of C3 10x42's and between the narrow "tube" view and the eyepieces that wouldn't stay put, I got annoyed enough to return them. Pity too since the image quality was very good.

The C1s are great with low light. They’re awesome binos for mid range—rave review after rave review. I don’t see any appeal to the C3s. Maybe I’m missing something.

I have the C1's. They're my first decent pair of binoculars so Im only comparing to old Bushnells and Berska's - but with the reviews and my budget I felt they were worth a shot. Glad I bought them, they've been awesome. I bought a demo pair that looked brand new, and would 100% recommend them.
