Maryland Bear Hunt

You read that correctly, we do have bears in MD. Took me a long time to finally draw a tag and I was happy to capitalize on it with this young boar.

I spent an Oct and Nov. in Frederick back about 20 years ago.
Beautiful country up there in the fall.
I ate a lot of paw-paws.

Picked a bunch of paw-paws this Fall. Going to make some ice cream out of them.

Congrulations on your bear, been putting in for the draw the last few years no luck yet, the area I hunt deer in has a few hanging around see them often while hunting deer. Nice too see them making a come back in the western Md. counties.

First bear I've ever seen in MD. Bear kill was way down this year with only 52 bears. Usual kill is 140+.
