Hey guys. I have an opportunity to pick up a Marlin 39A with 20” barrel. After checking it was manufactured in 1961/1962 timeframe. The current owner claims it is unfired. After inspecting it I can’t find any reason to disagree with him. It looks exactly like it should have when it came from Marlin. I’m hoping to get a realistic value for it. The owner said make him an offer on it. I don’t want to low ball the offer and completely push him away or offer him more than it’s realistically worth. I’ve owned a couple in the past, but not in this condition. I have checked on Gunbroker, but don’t accept their numbers as the last word. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
