Prius and miata eh….? Well now I feel the testosterone surging through my veins.
Think I’ll have some quiche for breakfast. Real men DO eat quiche, Tthat shit is delicious! You lose man-points if you know how to spell it. Keesh.

Now…Wheres my bottle of Testafen with its man boosting formula?

Really considered it. If I could have found one I liked with the long bed it would have been a hard decision. Don't want to order a new truck though. Prefer to save some money on a used one.
Two guys I work with bought them. One guy is like 6'20 and just plain big...he loves it. He gets better mileage towing than most trucks empty.

I mean, I drive a 2009 Honda Fit. Being a man is about being practical and not letting your Ego rule your life.
Yes.

Threads like this always make me sad. The entire idea of connecting vehicle choice to masculinity was dreamed up by a marketer named Edward Bernays, nephew of Sigmund Freud, to sell more and more expensive cars.

The guy was obviously effective but letting a stranger tell you what to buy in order to ratify the self image you want is pretty low on the list of masculine things a guy could do.

Kind of like thinking your are real bad ass because you own pitfalls. But, I have a big truck because I don't want to stuff all of my stuff in a cracker box, or on top of some POS.

Guys having a little laugh over satire makes you sad?
The vast majority of people actually do conflate their vehicle choice and their masculinity.

That, and the entire concept is a marketing gimmick that is now endemic.

You don't have to surrender your man card! Not yet anyway. Build a fire, punch someone in the face, eat a steak, and chug a beer. If you do all that, then you'll just be on probation for six months. If, during that six months, you don't do anything girly like smell a flower or moisturize your skin, then you can keep your man card.
