Is it worth just having a single Waters? Hard to justify buying multiple when it is highly unlikely that I will shoot anywhere near what I will at the class at any time after it.

Scheels has factory .223 six rounders in stock. Would I be wasting $50 on one?

Based on my sample of one, and the comments I've read from others, I think it would be a waste. I imagine they'll fix them eventually, but I until I see a bunch of positive reports, I wouldn't touch them.

Is there a functional difference between the mamba, waters rifleman, or NDR tikka mags? It seems everyone prefers the MambaMags but if they’re not ever available then I won’t wait around on them.

I've read a few positive reviews on the NDR mags so I picked up a couple, since Mamba wasn't looking imminently available. Still in transit though, so I have nothing to report, yet. About $90 USD each so not as good as Mamba close out, but less than Mamba full price and Waters.

I received it yesterday. Should have grabbed a comparison pic, but it's not much bigger than the factory 6 rd magazine. I ran 20 rounds through it, and everything fed smoothly. I'll see what I can do with it this weekend.

That magazine is not compatible with a factory Tikka. In order to use that magazine with a tikka, you'd need to convert to an AICS bottom metal or use a chassis that is AICS compatible.

40 days, but who's counting? I've heard check back "this week" (more than a month ago), something along the lines of "we're counting" etc. I'm clearly the dummy for continuing to check. Are these mags even worth the hassle?

Any mag costing more than 50 bucks for a tikka is Bullshit. No real reason they should be more than that.
