You also have to remember that only the person buying the gear can determine if any accessories are worth the price, not just because you say they are. If they spend $900 decking out a new pack but don't have money left to buy other gear, it's a poor investment in funds. Nothing wrong with throwing everything in the main bag. Everyone prioritizes things differently.

Look, President Trump has been saying it since he ran for president and I think it's worth repeating. Let's put America first. Sure it might take a while because of American companies reliance on China, but let's do it already. The hunting industry has a chance to lead here, and they ought to do it.

This pandemic should have highlighted America's need to separate itself from the rest of the world and become leaders again, instead of followers. When we are relying on a hostile communist nation for medical supplies, we have a major major issue in this country.

China starts a pandemic, withholds life and death information, lies about it, blames the United States of America, threatens the United States of America, meanwhile other hostile nation's are threatening us, and the liberal media is praising China for coming to the rescue in European countries, and bashing our president for exposing the lies China is spreading, the economy is in shambles, and some of you wonder why I say **** China? American companies need to take their companies back from China and become American again......

Lot of them are designed into the bag to begin with. A lot of guys don't like a lot of pouches etc etc. I'm just trying to figure out why everyone gets so worked up over what backpack someone chooses to run.

I'm worked up because American companies are under the communist thumb and need to get out from under it.......if a company needs to find someone in the USA to make a damn zipper pull to be able to claim 100% made in America, then do it!

Not sure on mountaineering style boots. There are a couple of custom makers on the west coast that do all leather hikers. Otherwise, Hoffman, Russell, Gokey, Some Danner, Whites, Calden. Used to be Dexter, and Merrell for heavy leather mountain boots, but no more.

The French supported and enabled the USA to win the revolutionary war, we stepped up in both world wars. Our greatest moments in history are tied to working with others.

The USA won the Revolutionary War because our forefathers had the foresight to put our constitution into place to give Americans the tools to fight tyranny. Why? Good luck getting the American people to choose higher prices over cheap. The consumer drove that move to China and now people are addicted to it. Some medicines we are reliant on China for, but not all. My brother is a chemist for Genentech and works on cancer biologics. The research is done here and they are produced in Switzerland and Germany. Should we stop buying anything from Germany since they've killed more Americans as China has?
