LS Wild Suppressor Covers

Those are different covers.
oops...didnt realize he was referencing an armageddon cover...thought it was the ls wild....ls wild is pretty thin and i hope it works for mitigating some mirage and burning my hand when i am bench shooting...i wont be getting crazy with quick shots just 3 shot groups every several minutes.... but i can see that getting a little heavy if wet also.

Anybody know what the deal is with this guy? I have an issue with an order for a cover, he was very responsive at first, but has gone silent on me for about a month now.
He was out sick and posted it recently on this forum. He stated he knew he was behind and was working on it. You weren’t the only one that hadn’t received comms. Search his user name if you want to see for yourself.

Just popping on this thread to say i shot my polonium on a PRS gun w/ an LS Wild suppressor cover and it had no problems shooting 6 dasher 10 round strings. This can is probably a little thicker than UL titanium cans so it may not transfer heat to the cover as fast, but just sharing my experience.

Has anybody managed to get one of these onto one of the unfinished OG65s? without paint or coating on the silencer its super rough, I can't even really put it in my pocket because the texture just hangs up, those LS wild covers are already super tight, I'm wondering if I could even slide one onto that og65 with the rough exterior.

I got one from the unknown suppressors website and it fits fine. Just a hair loose. Works fine for what it is. I won’t use it hunting but it’s nice for the range while being a minimal amount of weight to hopefully cause as little change as possible when switching to bare suppressor for hunting.

For sure, no need while hunting but for shooting it keeps the mirage down and reduces the chance to burn myself. The texture of that unfinished silencer is like sandpaper though.

Have you tried putting a piece of paper around your suppressor and then sliding the cover over the top of it and then pulling out the paper? I had some suppressors that needed a smoother surface for application of the cover, and this worked well. A second set of hands to hold the paper helped too.

I havnt tried that, it’s an excellent idea though, I’ll do it.

My reaper cover I couldn’t pull on due to the roughness. I pulled it as far as I could then took it shooting. It stretched a bit so I pulled it further. Shot more rinse and repeate. Now it fits great ha.

Got two LS Wild suppressor covers yesterday for my new US Reapers (coated finish). Lightweight and excellent quality. The covers fit perfectly.

FYI I just did my own water experiment with my Armageddon cover.

Dry = 2.2 oz
Wet = 5.8 oz (after 1 hour submerged)

After 12 hours drying = 4.3 oz
After 24 hours drying = 3.4 oz
Didn't measure past 24 hours
I can check that out and report back.

I will also test POI on a rifle this weekend if I remember to grab stuff to do it.
I know you were out for a while. No rush, but do you think you might still be able to test this at some point? Thanks
