LS Wild Suppressor Covers

Question for the guys who ordered one for the Scythe with the brake end cap and direct thread adapter, which measurements did you use?

The chart on the website is showing 1.8x5.6, however I measured mine at 1.7x5.7.
I contacted them before I ordered and they said 1.7. It is very tight. I’m guessing the manufacturing tolerances won’t allow this, but it seems like 1.75 might be the sweet spot for this one.

The 1.7 will still fit though. If the 1.8 seems a bit looser than it should, probably best to go with 1.7

Did you order one that didn’t fit? If so, PM me. Could not tell from the posts. Hit me that maybe you need a new one
It’s really hard to keep the diameter perfect, we’re learning. If it has a problem, lemme know.
Got my three today! The Obsidian 45 green and tan (short version) fit perfectly!
But I screwed up the order for the orange Alaskan ti.🫤
It’s a inch too long because I included the RUM mount in the length…which was dumb of me because it has to be rotated to lock and unlock.😬
I’m going to try and make it work by scrunching it up to keep the RUM exposed before ordering another one in green or tan…an inch shorter!t
Not the fault of LS WILD at all…so remember to keep your lock rings exposed guys!

I’ll post a picture of the Obsidian tomorrow. It fits perfectly.

I ordered the recommended size for the Scythe. It went on, not too easy at all. It fits great. Definitely would buy more of them.

Just ordered for a Dead Air Nomad Ti and an AB A-10 7.62. Put a decent amount of detail into the OD and length measurements. Went a hair conservative on the length measurements to try to limit overhang. Let me know if you'd like a picture that's PDF'd and marked up with my measurements @hereinaz to illustrate.

Enjoyed the podcast with Mark from Exo btw. Great listen while moving between bear spots in ID this week!

What size did you order for your AB-10? I just ordered a LS cover for this suppressor yesterday. I don't have the suppressor yet. Just got approved on Friday so I need to run down to my LGS and get it still. I looked at the table on the LS website and we've with 1.6 x 6 for the AB-10.

Just put mine on my Nomad Ti XC. Took ~5 min to shimmy it on. I opted to try the method of sliding the cover on the barrel > threading suppressor on barrel > sliding cover onto suppressor. The cover easily compressed enough to make this work, despite only having a few inches of exposed barrel between the muzzle threads and handguard on my 18" Sig Cross.

If / when I do it again, I'd do the paper mailer / plastic sheet method for the Nomad Ti. It was still totally possible without, but the tiny little lips / edges near the end of the Nomad Ti are just big enough to hang up the felt a bit.

Seems like a great design. Have no doubts about it staying put; will report back if I have anything notable to add re: how it deals with mirage.
Have pics with it on? Was thinking about grabbing one for my Ti XC

Ti XC is black and the Nomad Ti is grey.

The fit looks great - what method did you use on getting them on? I should have mine today hopefully if USPS does their job.
Just kinda twisted them on from the barrel end forward. Pushed them over the exit end of the can a bit then twisted them back down to help align the internal fabric with the outer and remove the wrinkles.

Screwed back on the rifles and twisted until the seam lined up with the bottom of the barrel.

I guess I got my silencer hot enough to melt the cover to the can. When I got the cover off it ended up being sort of stretched out or the melted material made it so it’s not tight. Now it slips forward and got sort of blown apart a bit from the muzzle brake blast.

Not posting this as a complaint at all, just a heads up, in case you’re shooting a lot. I’ve put about 500 rounds through this in the past five days just practicing for a black bear hunt I’m going on. @hereinaz have you seen this?
