Trying to get back on topic here; should I get a Kifaru Ark or EXO K4 for my upcoming squirrel hunt in the 5 acres next to my house?

22” or 26” frame? Not sure how much load lift I’ll need, but I expect to get at least 3 squirrels.

Should I bone them out or just quarter them?

Here’s one of the shooters I’ve got on camera. We’ve got a lengthy history. Over the last three years, we’ve had multiple run ins but I’ve never been able to finish the job. He’s winded me, caught me jerkin it in the stand (I didnt expect him to come out at 2pm), and one time when I was lined up with the perfect shot, a darn 12 point buck came charging in and scared him off. I’d never been so mad in my life. This year I missed him at 190 yards with the recurve (indirect fire from defilade with the assistance of a forward observer) due to accidentally hitting a bald eagle in mid flight (darn things are everywhere now). I’m hoping I’ll have another chance at him before a neighbor gets him.

I dont know. When coffee is piping hot there is defonetly a slurping action going on to test it. Sometimes I over exaggerate that slurp, it really annoys my wife.

Can’t help ya. It’s taken years of property management and passing up 150 class squirrels to get them that size around my place. So long as you kids keep shootin them when they’re young, you’ll never get any absolute slobs like what I got

As a longtime member of the spoon and crockpot club, I just want to point out that you guys are doing it wrong with your trophy squirrel management. The young ones are the trophies. The old ones are too tough to fry, and you have to use them for squirrel gravy or stew or dumplings.
