Love how we're evolving

Spot on back in the day it was pure woodsmanship: read sign, sit all day, earn every buck the hard way. Tough as hell, but built character.

Now with trail cams, forums, YouTube breakdowns? Game changer new hunters learn in a season what took us years. More deer hit the ground ethically, less wounding, and the knowledge sharing keeps the tradition alive.

Life's good old school grit plus modern tools mean better hunters all around. Still gotta put in the work though. Respect to the roots!

Wait. Are we trying to get the thread back on the topic of what the op started?

Think a warning for thread derailment is in order.

The AI bots are back. How dare you go off topic.

Wow… I’m having me some serious Deja vu…..

But to get back to a topic of very serious interest to me, Why do you freakin Texans get so GD excited about putting beans in chili? Chili con carne con frijoles es bueno…. Es mucho tasty !!! To be fair it’s not just Texans. But your average bean objector is 76% likely to be a Texan. Maybe I need to start a poll thread to science the shit out of this topic.

With regard to tacos being sandwiches, legal precedent states absolutely that they are. Quintana vs. Ft Wayne Planning Commission.

Hotdogs are not sandwiches. This position can be unassailably defended with the following logic “Does ESPN broadcast sandwich eating contests? Hotdogs will remain non sandwich until the courts rule otherwise.

I’m gonna try the ketchup and cholula thing… but I’m keeping a barf bag handy. If I like it… next stop is possum chile with beans seasoned with ketchup and cholula. Crap…. I just threw up in my mouth a little.

But what about bowhunting back in the day?

Texas has enough beans all over the state. The last thing we need is them messing up our chili!
If you like the ketchup Cholula combo then try ketchup mixed with Texas Pete's hot sauce?

But back to bowhunting-- it's just not the same since we can watch footages to show us how it's done--way to easy to shoot possums for supper now!
