Love how we're evolving

Baked beans with hot dogs = Baked beans
Bean soup with ham = bean soup
Hot dog with Baked beans = odd topping, but ydy
Beans with chili meat = spicy Baked beans
Chili with beans = chili, but be prepared to argue
Chili con queso = chili, but add dairy products
Chili = specific sub-species of pepper widely known for its incorporation into pedantery-inducing soups bearing its namesake.

If you put beans in chili it becomes beans with sauce and is no longer considered chili.
They're HAS to be a minimum ratio threshold though. Like more than 50/50 beans/chilli then yes, I'd agree with you. However the opposite must also apply.

1 bean in a gallon of chilli can't be "beans with sauce" (Okay, I guess technically you could call it that it it was 2 beans, but you'd be a frigging idiot to try) surely it'd be chilli with beans or, for short, chilli.

If it's more juice than bean or meat, surely it's soup.

Relatedly, how many people have to be in a swimming pool before it's technically human soup? 🤔
